A constellation of light
Moto takes its starting point from a constellation: glass globes held on fine metal arms, arranged to give the fixture depth without visual heaviness.
I developed the visual structure, arm geometries and sphere proportions, working towards a balanced composition across different sizes. The work involved collaboration with engineering on assembly and adjustability.
Composition across sizes
The relationship between the central structure, the arms and the luminous spheres defines the design. The arrangement gives each element room while maintaining a coherent whole. Moto became part of Kuzco’s lighting collection.
